The Kinship Care Regional Project and the Western Sydney Grandcarers are hosting a Legal Aid information session on Care & Protection Law and Family Law on Friday 2nd March.
This March 7th workshop sound like a great idea for anyone whose grandchild has commenced year 7 in high school this year. A transition time not only for children, this workshop looks to provide insight into strategies that will make homework time less of a battle and more of a planned campaign.
The issue of support for kinship and foster carers has again hit the airwaves and newspapers, in response to Minister Gowards’ cuts to the supported & statutory care allowance.
