Medical transport

Springwood Neighbourhood Centre and Great Community Transport offers a medical transport service for frail aged and disabled residents who have difficulty using public transport to get to medical appointments. The service is provided by volunteer drivers and does incur a fee.

If you could use the medical transport service, contact the centre to discuss your eligibility (you don't need a doctor’s referral). Once your eligibility has been assessed, simply provide the centre with details of your appointments and our receptionists will arrange your transport with one of our friendly drivers.

For more information about registering for medical transport or to become a volunteer driver, please contact the centre on 4751 6957.
