The Springwood Neighbourhood Centre provides services to meet the needs of the community from Valley Heights to Linden. We offer an extensive range of affordable courses, activities, community gatherings, lunches, an internet cafe, advice, information, and support.
Community and Cultural Development
Our Community and Cultural Development program provides educational, social and personal development courses, workshops, activities and services as well as functions to celebrate events such as NAIDOC Week, Seniors Week, International Women’s Day and more. The program aims to support the community, advocate for residents and promote issues of social justice.
Community Visitors Scheme
The Community Visitors Scheme sees volunteers regularly visit residents of nursing homes who are feeling isolated or could simply enjoy a friendly chat. The program benefits the volunteers and the residents, as it encourages meaningful friendships to develop. More >>

Open Door
Open Door is a weekly leisure group for men and women over 45. It provides opportunities for residents to enjoy social activities such as taking a bus trip, playing games, watching movies and more.
Springwood Acoustic Club
