Intergenerational Activities

Our intergenerational program between 3 – 5 year olds and people over 65 has created strong relationships and brought a lot of fun to both the children and the older participants. This program is supported by Nepean Blue Mountains Primary Health Network (NBMPHN). Wentworth Healthcare is the provider of NBMPHN.  We have captured sound evidence that demonstrates health and well being improvements for the adults and the young ones who have developed the confidence to make new social connections and try new activities.

SNCC also works collaboratively with local preschools and playgroups to host regular activities and events throughout the year. Activities can include music/singing, craft, games, reading stories and outside play. If you would like to know more about our upcoming activities, please contact Jo Newton on 0460 859 543, email cdo@sncc.org.au, or drop in and see us.
