Cook & Dine is a welcoming community activity that brings people together to cook, share and enjoy simple, nutritious meals. We provide all the ingredients and easy-to-follow recipes, giving participants practical skills and ideas they can recreate at home. The focus is on affordable, healthy cooking in a fun and social environment where everyone can learn, connect and enjoy a meal together. We cater for all dietary requirements, ensuring everyone can participate and feel included.

This year the NSW Seniors Festival runs from 2-15 March 2026, with the theme "Live life in colour!" celebrating the diversity, creativity, and energy of older residents.

We will be running a Cook & Dine to celebrate.

SNCC is proud to be once again hosting an IWD event for high school students at The HUB in Springwood this March.

The "Give To Gain Campaign" encourages a mindset of generosity and collaboration.

Give To Gain emphasizes the power of reciprocity & support. When people, organizations, & communities give generously, opportunities & support for women increase. Giving is not a subtraction, it's intentional multiplication. When women thrive, we all rise.

Whether through donations, knowledge, resources, infrastructure, visibility, advocacy, education, training, mentoring, or time, contributing to women's advancement helps create a more supportive and interconnected world.

This year Neighbourhood Centre Week will be celebrated from 11-17 May 2026, and the theme is 'Your Place to Connect' Keep an eye on our Facebook page for event details.

National Volunteer Week is Australia's largest annual celebration of volunteering. The theme for 2026 is "Your Year to Volunteer!". This special event provides an opportunity to highlight the important role of volunteers in our community and invites people not currently volunteering to give it a go. We hope you join us to connect and celebrate. Keep an eye out a the centre or on Facebook for event details.

The 2026 theme is “Colours of Courage,”. We celebrate LGBTQIA+ inclusion, visibility, and pride.

SNCC is collaborating with  headspace Katoomba. The afternoon will feature live music and dance, youth speakers, creative workshops, interactive service stalls, games, and a free BBQ — all in a safe, welcoming, alcohol- and vape-free space.

This year we are in front of Commonwealth Bank. Come and find us for face painting, a raffle, guessing competitions or just to say HELLO!

Acoustic Club & Shine Community Choir will be performing on the Town Square Lister stage from 11.30am - 1pm!

There will be lots going on - over 130 food and market stalls, live entertainment, street performers, rides for the kiddies & more!  A fun and entertaining day for all the family!

Are you caring for a family member, friend, neighbour, partner or loved one?

Join us for a relaxed and enjoyable FREE Cook & Dine event as we celebrate and acknowledge the incredible contribution of informal carers in our community.

Prepare & share a delicious meal, connect with others who understand the caring role. Enjoy some well-deserved time for yourself in a friendly and supportive environment.

While this event is designed for carers, we understand that it isn't always practical to leave the person you care for at home. You're very welcome to bring them along so you can enjoy the experience together.

Harmony Week 2025 will take place from Monday 16th Sunday 22nd March. Harmony Day will be on Saturday 21st March with this years theme being "Everybody Belongs". An International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.

Join us for an inclusive themed lunch $5 per person.

Performed in precise three-part vocal harmony by Damien Cotton, Shane Peters and Terry Grant.  This 3-man army of harmony will bring you the legendary songs of artists such as: The Everly Brothers, The Beatles, The Beach Boys, The Eagles, The Doobie Brothers, Fleetwood Mac, Little River Band, The Bee Gees and so much more...

Celebrated 17 May,  (International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Intersex Discrimination, and Transphobia). This years theme is "At the Heart of Democracy".  We celebrated at Tibbi Whalan Hall up at Katoomba. 

The 2026 theme is "50 Years of Deadly" This theme celebrates not only the achievements from the past, but the bright future ahead, empowered by the strength of our young leaders, the vision of our communities and the legacy of our ancestors. It invites all Australians to listen, learn, and engage in meaningful dialogue, fostering a society where the wisdom and contributions of Indigenous peoples are fully valued and respected.
