Seniors Week 11 – 24 March

The NSW Seniors Festival will run from 11-24 March 2024, with the theme of the festival being Reach Beyond! Keep an eye on our Facebook page for event details.

Harmony Week 20-26 March

Harmony Week 2024 will take place from 20th March 2024 to 26th March 2024. Harmony Day will be on Tuesday 21st. 21st March is the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination Keep an eye on our Facebook for event details.

NAIDOC 7 – 14 July

The theme for this years NAIDOC week is "Blak, Loud and Proud" This theme calls for a reclamation of narratives, an amplification of voices, and an unwavering commitment to justice and equality. It invites all Australians to listen, learn, and engage in meaningful dialogue, fostering a society where the wisdom and contributions of Indigenous peoples are fully valued and respected.

We are working with local elders and all in our community to bring together a respectful and strong celebration for NAIDOC week. Keep an eye on our Facebook for event details.

National Volunteer Week is Australia's largest annual celebration of volunteering and will be next held on 20-26 May 2024. This special event provides an opportunity to highlight the important role of volunteers in our community and invites people not currently volunteering to give it a go. We hope you join us to connect and celebrate.

Blue Fringe Festival - October

SNCC continues to work in collaboration with Belong BM, the Blue Mountains Women’s Health and Resource Centre and a small committee of volunteers to raise money and organise the 2024 Blue Fringe Art Festival. Click HERE for more information.
