Digital Mentoring is a one-on-one service at Springwood Neighbourhood Centre where a volunteer can help you become more familiar with your smart phone, iPad, or tablet. It's a FREE service. Bookings are a must, so call the Centre on 4751 3033 for more information.
Talking Gazette is a FREE local news resource provided weekly on CD/DVD that overviews the Blue Mountains Gazette and is produced by rotating volunteer narrators. To sign up to the service, contact the Centre on 4751 3033.
Raising Kin is a support group for grandparents, relatives and kinship carers who care for a child who is a relative. Come along to meet others who are the primary carers of a grandchild, niece or nephew, sibling or other relative who is not their child. This group meet on the first Wednesday of the month during school terms at 10am until 12pm.
Carers, Kin and Co is a support group for grandparents, relatives and kinship carers who care for a child who is a relative. This group is open to all, but especially to all the diverse cares in the community. This group meets on the first Monday of the month during school term. It runs from 10am til 1130am at Heatherbrae, 1 Benang Street Lawson.
